
1lb Self Raising Flour
8oz Suet
12oz Stewing Beef diced
4oz Kidneys
1 Large Onion
Method
Sift Flour with pinch of salt, mix in suet add water to form soft dough.
Chop onion small, slice kidney.
Roll out dough into two squares; divide beef, kidney and onion between two squares.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Fold into parcel shapes securing edges with a little water. Place each one onto a large square cotton cloth, wrap and secure with string.
Place in a steamer and steam for 3 ½ hours or boil in a pan of salted water for
3 hours.
